quick note on the Wood Memorial

Awesome Act was supposed to blow out 3 furlongs for the Wood this morning. Haven't seen whether he did or not. They did mention that if they weren't happy with the surface (must be wet up there), they'd just gallop him into the race. Either way, he's doing well by all accounts.

Eskenderya is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

    thanks w2w...track is messed up in ny...here in baltimore it was nasty for 2 days but it should be perfect this weekend.....

    Awesome Act missed that workout today. It must be HORRIBLE up there, because DRF is showing no workouts @ Aqueduct since the 28th (wtf?), and only 3 horses worked out at Belmont today (with the training track listed as Sloppy).

    yea it rain here in baltimore for 2 days in a row..but now we are going to be getting in the 80's....supposed to be really nice this weekend....no one is talking about jackson bend...he is a horse that could just jump up and a run a good one
