    I'm sure he'll post it. I doubt The Pamplemousse's first workout in over a year was a much of a secret around the track, especially with the fan base that horse has.

    It'll probably turn up on Mary Forney's blog, too. She's actually a member here, but she's been inactive for a very long time. Not sure she reads here anymore. I'll link whatever video turns up, be it Zap, Forney, or both.

    I'd be surprised if they even have a race picked out yet. Probably some kind of conditional allowance in a couple of months.

    well sunday was the first half mile...he will probably go another half and then to 5f before they even think about a race....look for something at santa anita...

    Wasnt expecting anything too soon, but everytime a big horse like this returns it seems like the trainers have a "target" that they are working towards months before the return race.

    true...they always have a target on where they want to be at..

    That's the case with healthy horses, sure. But The Pamplemousse went to the sidelines with an injury last April, and didn't even make an appearance on a worktab until a year and a half later. I think they just wanted to get him back in training, then take it from there.

    4f in 49.00....im guessing two more 5/8 drills and then he might be entered in a race...
