This Dutrow filly hopped at the break, then was forced inward as the the horse to her outside came over on her, resulting in her being way back at the rear for the entire run down the backside. She swung out for room into the stretch though, and came running strongly late to take second. She figures to appreciate the added distance here, and her recent drills have been extremely promising. She worked heads-up with Labor Harmony on Sep 14, and Labor Harmony emerged from that drill to win his debut a week later. Then on Sep 20, Status Pending worked heads-up with Trickmeister, who was last seen winning the Pleasant Colony Stakes by 11 lengths on Aug 27. Garret Gomez (27% with Dutrow) retains the mount, and note that Dutrow is putting her in a race where she can't be claimed away now. Expecting a good effort here.
