Wow. I guess you have to find something in defeat but this is getting silly.
Many of you seem amazed that Zenyatta was able to nearly make up all that ground for the win and seem amazed at her talent to do so. I guess that makes Dakota Phone even MORE amazing because he was dead last by 15 or more lengths running only a mile.
He circled the entire field out wide and ran them all down unlike Zenyatta. Yet all I hear is how Zenyatta was amazing make up all that ground...... huh ? What about Dakota Phone who did make up all that ground and won ?
All the speed died in the mile and the Classic the track was set up perfectly for a closer. Zenyatta wasn't good enough. Blame was the best horse this year and he earned the HOY.
