    Hard to give him an edge vs. this group, i think. Should be a great race though.

    Smiling Tiger with that outside post & R Baze is a no brainer $ 50 across the board if he dont win I'm sure he will be in there.:toast:

    This is the most competitive sprint I've seen in awhile.
    Alcindor looks like the new kid on the block.
    Caracortado looked brilliant in his return.
    Noble's Promise, Twirling Candy, Smiling Tiger, Setesuko.

    IMO 8-9 of these have at least a descent shot of winning the race.

    I understand Setsuko has been training very well, and the longer 7-furlong distance might help a bit, but frankly i'd be shock to see him win this one. He just figures to give away too much ground early, and it's hard to believe he'll be able to give the kinds of horses a big head-start and still be able to get past them. Nice tune-up for him though; i'm sure he'll be heard from as the distances increase.

    Nice call on Smiling Tiger. He gave me a couple of anxious moments there. He also split up my Twirling Candy/Caracortado exacta.
