Interesting first-time starter for Chris Clement here. A half-sister to the world-class Medaglia d'Oro, this daughter of Giant's Causeway comes into today's race off a couple of heads-up drills with older stakes horses. Most recently she worked with Tarrip, who in her last two races has finished third, both times in graded turf stakes. Prior to that, she worked with Dancing David, a European import from the Brian Meehan barn who ran in the French Derby last year. Clement does quite well with horses debuting around two turns, and it looks like he's been pretty serious in his training of this well-bred filly. Expecting a good effort.
