I'll likely pass on this one.
Brethren/Dialed In are way too short for me to take on them.
The Factor @ 20-1 after only a maiden?
Machen is one I'm watching, but his performance Saturday will either drop his odds dramatically or prove he isn't a contender.

Soldat is interesting in that he might be overlooked, though he's still a question mark on dry dirt at this time. No reason to think he can't handle it though. I just wish he had won the Breeders Cup.instead of running second. That one kind of hurt.

Uncle Mo 3-1? Dialed In 8-1? Not sure if i would take these prices on these horses on Derby day let alone 2 1/2 months before. I think its somewhat comical. Cant stand the way Pletcher handles his horses. He is going to run Uncle Mo in some shithole 1 mile race at Gulfstream? Keep running him like that Todd and he will never get the derby distance! That being said I made a big wager on all others and a few small wagers on Soldat and The Factor.

    Interesting fact:

The top 3 individual Derby favorites have combined for a total of one 3yo start.

Also played Rogue Romance. Thought he ran a decent race finishing 3rd yesterday. Might of needed the race.

I finally decided to go with Brethren.

Taking another look in March's Pool. And make a solid choice in the third Pool.

Very leary of these pool's, especially after one of the contenders got scratched at the starting gate of the Derby.

Congrats to those of you who bet Soldat. He's on the upswing...
