Uncle Mo will be based at WinStar Farm until he regains health | Daily Racing Form

Yeah. He was so close to running in the Derby, he immediately gets sent to the farm as soon as the weekend is over. What a sham.

Yup, a total sham, probably done to pump up his stud value. He'll never run again and I'd wager on it.

Repole stated on a conf. call he was looking at the Jimy Dandy, Travers, and then the BC Classic when they determine what is wrong with him and that would be it. This colt has something serious wrong with him and it's a shame how much money on the futures were lost on this colt.

At least a good portion of that money lost was Draynay's :drinking:

On a more serious note, it is ridiculous how these connections keep things hidden from the public as hundreds of thousands are bet in to a hopeless cause. This is one thing horseplayers' associations should be protesting against. Rumors hit the forums days earlier than a public announcement, and I'm sure the rumors that hit the forums were going around the barn days before they ended up there. Fines should be issued to owners/trainers in these types of situations, and vets should have to report any injuries or illness immediately. The lack of transparency involved is really a shame. It is reasons like this that the horse racing industry can't keep its head above water.

What if Sway Away won the Preakness and Belmont?
