No big prices here, but word comes that # 2 SAVVY SUPREME, 5/2, is going to be hard to catch. She is still considered Winstar's top 3yo fillie. Throw out last Acorn G1 in the mud and her works since are brilliant. Expect her to dictate the pace and repel all challengers late.

Another in here who should offer a late challenge is # 6 COAX LIBERTY, 7/2, who should hang around till late and then put in her run. Word is that this seasoned 3yo will appreciate 7 furlongs, or longer.

This is a small field so I would recommend taking a position will little room for error.

#2 win
straight ex 2--6
trifecta 2---6---1/4/5

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Won't decide until just before the race but one thing is certain: I am NOT betting the 2. If she can get 7F under even mild pressure, then she'll beat me. But she has to show she can get 7F. And this goes even if Pletcher has some of that SPECIAL SARATOGA juice in her.

There are horses in here that have shown that they can go 7F and will love the distance: #4 and #5. And they'll get a good setup today, with #3 having enough speed to keep the 2 honest.

    Good Luck

Oh Yeah, what was I thinking!

We all know that those Distorted Humor progeny can't get past a Los Al 300 yard distance. Seven furlongs would be like asking Savvy Supreme to circumnavigate the globe! I must of been out of my mind when I even considered Winstar's best fillie in a non-graded stakes race and, moreover, that 3rd rate juicer of a trainer, TAP. Please disregard anything I posted above regarding the 8th at Belmont.

Oh, and I failed to mention that Savvy Supreme is being ridden today by that bull ring jock, J. R. , something, who I'm sure is another with underachieving abilities and who couldn',t get a good mount at Fairmont Park in East St. Louis. Well.....that just about says it all! I'm thirsty and going to the fridge to get another 40 of that SPECIAL SARATOGA JUICE!

My homeboy Irad got me alive in the double (OK it was a saver, but still). He's a bad MFer.

    BEL #7 $20 Double 7,WT,2 none $ 20.00 - -
    BEL #7 $20 Double 4,6,WT,2 none $ 40.00 - -
    BEL #7 $50 Double 2,7,WT,2 none $ 100.00 - -

Lets do this wire to wire now. Hopefully that J R somebody you mentioned gets us home.

I don't really have a clue here, but the #4 is the favorite in the horizontal exotics, while the #5 opened as the 4/5 favorite.

which part? playing the exotics only ONE WAY or insisting that I was an idiot for suggesting that the 2 wouldn't get 7F?

I'd love to have seen the look on his face when the 2 started looking for a gas station late stretch. Did she lay down like a bitch or what? Imagine how badly she would've quit if she had gotten just a little bit of pressure early from the 3.

IMO John provides some of the best information and analysis here on hrt, hands down. We are all here for one purpose, to make money. Until you start providing some winners on hrt, you have no credibility here sir. Show n prove... as John has on hrt with consistency.

This is why you all don't see my post on here all the time no longer, this forum should be called. I'm a Pussy and I wear Panties. I spend thousands of dollars each and every year at this game trying to get an edge and then share to others. I cannot tell you hown many times, I have taken trainers, clockers, and leading people in the industry to dinner and have spoiled some in Louisville with Jeff Ruby stakehouse gift certificates. Then you have little bitches that are just always negative to the real forum members that bring real info for all to share and have a great day at the track.

That's what this forum is for, sharing information and trying to all become better handicappers. I think that works for all our benefit, and i think that we can all learn (at least on occasion) from people who have differing viewpoints on a race. For instance, i disagreed on one of Dirty's picks today, and offered a reason why. He may agree or disagree with me (probably the latter), but at least we're discussing the merits of a particular horse, and it's never personal. Nor should it be. People disagree all the time; that's what handicapping horses is all about! Let's keep it civil. We're all adults here....let's act like it.

I was more impressed with Cambina in their last rcae together. Cambina was able to make up cut into her deficit pretty damn well considering the snail-like pace, whereas Star Billing had trouble just holding her position. It should be to Star Billing's benefit here that there isn't any speed in the race, probably even moreso at the 1 1/4-mile distance, as the fractions figured to be pretty soft anyway. I just don't see her being able to capitalize on it though, considering what happened last time. The extra distance may not be her friend (though her breeding would suggest otherwise), and Nereid won't be letting her alone too much, i don't think.

Agreed DC... BUT... Draynays Brother should post some pretty steady plays here before just making posts of just busting chops. Thats the last Ill say on the subject. Will ignore future posts from DraBro ( which may be a tongue twister to BloJo) and concentrate more on all the great handicappers posts here.

Then in return let me congratulate you on Cambina, I ended up with the Nereid half of that pick 3. Star Billing looked very good, and might well have been best, however. Lets get lucky at Del Mar boys.

    Cat,

Would you mind doing us a small favor then? Whenever you have a few minutes, run through this guy's posting history. It isn't differing opinions, it is 90% ignorant comments about how the original poster's horse didn't win. He nev er posts his own plays, never thanks anyone for the winners they do post, and is simply here to troll and cause issues. When balancing these kinds of things for the good of the forum you have to think whether it is more important to be open to this guy or keep the members who are doing what the forum is for (i.e. FB (above and beyond for that point)). Nothing worse than angering the top posters on the forum, and I certainly know FB is not alone.

My point is and most peopel realize how many hours we spend each and everday just to get an edge in this game and have some jackleg mouth off over and over it gets aggravating!!! When I keep up the Derby thread each day during that periord leading up to the Derby I cannot tell you how many hours each day I was on the phone, texting, radio shows, and just plain out searching for info in all aspects. As I stated before this is the only forum I post at and will continue to post at. I don't have anything agasint other forum but most forum are for squirrels looking for a nut and then when they lose they start to chirp or when you start doing real well you have the original posters ego get offened because fother memebers start following your post and they get there feelings hurt(LVA). Then you get into pissing matches like a bunch of high school little bitches. I was at dinner this past weekend with several couples and I was asked how has the ponies been treating you this year and I responded real well. One person mouthed off and said you are the luckiest person I know and I took offense to it. I reponded back that to become lucky like myself you have to start spending 50-60 hours a week and you might come close to cashing tickets like myself. Then I stated if you spend as much time updating your facebook page as to handicapping you might become a better capper in years to come.

    AGREED,
And I know full well that we should not let the feable-minded bother us with their less than intelligent comments, but goddamnit, sometimes I just can't help myself! Anger management has nothing to do with controlling my feelings when some punk comes on here and puts up some comment that results in FB or someone else not getting us in the know on a horse or an angle which, more times than not, is right-on.

This horse racing game is about a hell of alot more than some mathmatical speed variant formula. It is about knowing what goes on between races and what different angles are in play, and the only way to get this info is what FB and others do on a daily basis, namely, keep in touch with their contacts. Even the best horses go in and out of form cycles and the only way to know is to get it from the source closest to the horse, either trainers, asst trainers, owners, clockers, or track observers. I, for one, would rather have inside info on what horses are doing between races than all the sheets and speed numbers available today, and there are too many to mention. If it was all about numbers, then you would find the favorites winning at a 85% clip, not the usual 30%.
All serious players keep up the good work, and the little bitches keep quiet!

I think that post was in response to one from John, but it's still out of line.

As requested, i'll definitely be keeping an eye on tmffm going forward. I'm sure he's been keeping up with this thread, and i'm hopeful that he'll take our comments to heart. I don't like bothering Ed with this stuff (he's the one who would have to press the ban button in this case), but if i have to, i will. Obviously, i would prefer it if we could all just keep things civil.

We have a great couple of months ahead of us, with Saratoga and Del Mar opening this week. This should be a good time for the forum, not a bad one. Let's focus on what's important, and have some fun.

Completely off topic, but I'll be in Vegas in 2 months if you'd like to play a few at one of the casinos and have a drink.
