Today i like the White Sox (Sale) +100 @ Cleveland. I like Sale anyway, expect he'll have a very nice year while moving into the starting rotation, but aside from that, i read something a few weeks ago that i'll be trying to capitalize on whenever the opportunity presents itself. That being, i read that the Indians' lineup is heavily slanted towards lefthanded batters, and as such, they may struggle this year when facing a tough lefty. And yeah, Sale definitely qualifies on that count.

FWIW, i could also see taking the first 5 innings line, due to the fact that Sale is a converted reliever, and this is his first start of the year, so he may not go more than 6 or 7 innings even under the best of circumstances.

White Sox win 4-2, as Chris Sale holds the Indians to one run thru 6 2/3 innings. I love it when a plan comes together... :toast:

I'm actually on the Rays with Matt Moore. Keep your eye on him this year. If he gets through his first week (@ Det, @ Bos) relatively unscathed, he could be in line for a huge rookie season.

I'm on the Marlins @ +127. Also bet a prop on "No run scored in the 1st inning" (-150)

I'm disgreeing with everybody today, lol...

PS - Note that the Indians lost to a lefthander again today.

I sweated that first inning with the bases loaded, but still cashed. You always have to sweat a wager it seems.

Phillies win 7-1. Haven't looked for tomorrow yet.
If I have anything I'll post in this thread.

    Todays Plays:
    Angels ML
    Memphis +5 1/2 v. SA

Also monitoring Rose's progress. Line is currently -1.5 to the Bulls at home. If Rose declares he will play and the line doesn't move to worse than -3 I'll be on that as well. If Rose sits, game is a pass (as well as if line shifts dramatically like it normally does when Rose plays).

Angels blew a 6-0 lead to lose 10-9 leaving a runner stranded in the 9th. Tough beat.
I decided to take Bulls ML @ -107.
    Good luck tonight everyone.
