Rays (Price) +115 @ Red Sox (Beckett)

Just a bad line here; i think the Rays rate the edge and deserve to be favored in this spot. Right before the season started, there was concern about a hand injury to Josh Beckett, who accompanied Andrew Bailey (now on the DL, of course) to see a specialist way up north somewhere (while the rest of the tean was still in Florida). It was speculated that Beckett would miss his first start, but he was pronounced "fine", and made his scheduled start against Detroit. Needless to say, he got bombed. Not hard to do up in Detroit, mind you, but based on the recent circumstances, it's a good bet he wasn't 100% that day, and there's a good chance he's not 100% today either. If that weren't bad enough, the Red Sox are facing David Price today, and he's the superior pitcher to begin with (even if Beckett were 100% healthy). As an added bonus, the Red Sox offense hasn't exactly been clicking lately, and it's hard to think they'll suddenly wake up against Price. Excellent value here.

Good Luck. We're on the same team today :drinking:

Angels killed me yesterday, hoping to turn it around here.
