    Is it possible word spread a "bit too much" and they just let him run around the track in hopes of better value next time around? While not likely, he most certainly might be worth a small WPS next out

    I walked in, it was the first thing the bartender said to me. i just laughed and knew it had no chance. Nobody bet any real money, though.

    All that said, he simply lost all chance at the start and was never asked.

    This was an upsetting bet:

    That's right. It paid 12k. This one probably was worth 1/5 of that.

    the horse was 50-1 morning line...went off at 30-1....got left in the gate....

    baffert had a 3/5 shot who ran up the track......will bet him back next time out.

    LOL. The Baffert horse was the single in the Pick 4 above. Just stayed in the gate. That said, the winner came from Ondine's first race if memory serves, so I'm sure that one is something nice.
