I was trying to get out for the weekend and bet my entire bankroll on a sure thing. The 5 horse to show in the first at parx today. How did this happen? I'm so sick right now.

    I did that once.
    Didn't look at horses again for 10 or 11 years.
    I've been playing horses now for 25 years.
    I'll never forget that day though or how I felt afterwards.

    The heavy favorite with about 95% of show pool won the race but was DQ'ed and placed 4th.

    I figured, I wouldn't be making fun of someone who just lost 20k. But thats what you get for betting 20k at 10am on a Monday at Parx, at least wait until an allowance race!

    I still can't believe i bet a race @ Parx last week (Lovely Elle). And now the Pennsylvania Derby coming up, too (on a Monday)?
