For a second there, i thought someone was bumping this thread because of ARAQEEL. Looks like he's getting close to a race....could be any time now.

Araqeel is entered Sunday @ Gulfstream

    Looks like he's a first-time gelding, too.

Track favored his style, but he looked awfully good under a strong hand ride from Rafa.

Araqeel is entered @ Keeneland on Friday (Opening Day).

Surprisingly, Joe Bravo has been named to ride. I had expected that Castellano would be back on board.

Araqeel ran second by a neck @ 6/1 odds. Ouch.

The best deal we got was when Distinguishable (3yo filly) was working with him. That was $$$$.

Anyways, like his shot. It's one of those bad betting races though.

Another HRT horse, Gloryzapper, returns to 1 turn, and gets the Anchor removed. I think I'm gonna single.

Also, 2 crackheads just started fighting, so I gotta go watch. Post your winners here.

Thought Lt. Colonel went too fast early, though admittedly he was kind of forced into it. Couldn't bet him regardless @ 4/5 post time odds.

Steve Anderson (on DRF Live) had stated that Point Piper would likely go favored. Sometimes i wonder if these guys even believe what they write.

The DRF article in the front of the form had a Hollendorfer quote about Colonel and they mistakenly said it was about Point Piper. maybe he read the article lol.

Araqeel is entered on Saturday. He's listed as the 3/1 ml favorite while coming off arguably the worst performance of his career. Thanks Chad Brown.

Only reason i had any interest at all this time is because he was coming off the bad race, and i think the 1 1/4 mile race can probably be considered a throwout.
