Calder State Bred Stakes Card Selections and Analysis (11/14)

Going to take a try at Calder this afternoon.
I've only gone over the first 4 races so far, here are my selections:
Race 1
#1 Nistlerooy of Joy
I tried every which way to find a play against for this horse but couldn't.
Win wager if @ 7/5 or higher.
Double 1 w 4, 7, 8, 9
Race 2
#8 Classie Hennesey
Second off layoff. Back to turf. To me there seems to be little pace in this 5f turf event and we all know how dangerous that can be. #7 is likely to set the pace with Classie Hennesey sitting just off it and make a run turning for home. Descent shot @ a big price.
Race 3
#5 Joan's Royal Dawn
Another strong favorite I can't play against.
Likely a strong favorite so win bet only if 6/5 or higher.
Trifecta 5 w/ 1,4 w/ 1,3,4
Race 4
#8 Suzanne
2yo fillies on the grass. One of the few who has already run a route on the turf. Ran quite well on it during an entry lvl allowance @ Keeneland.
Betting to win. If she stays at or above her morning line back her up to place.

Second. Luckily he was too short of a price for me to risk a win wager.

Filly's only loss comes on the turf. Opens up on field on dirt.
After setting quick early fractions this one still manages to come home in awful quick fractions.
The way she draws off leads me to believe she'll be fine going 7f.
This is the only selection today I've felt this confident for.
