    Major bummer, it's so hard to make it to the derby sound.

    Oh man, you have got to be kidding me. I took a future on him @ 75/1 a few weeks ago. At least he won the Holy Bull for us at a nice price. Damn.

    Here's the quote from owner Rick Porter on the Fox Hill Farm website:

    Winslow Homer had a little sensitivity in his shin Sunday morning. We went over him with a fine-toothed comb and found a small stress fracture in his cannon bone, resulting in Winslow having to go on the shelf for the next 60 – 90 days. Winslow should return to training in early April. This is another tough luck story for me and the Fox Hill fans but hopefully we will have a huge summer and fall with Winslow Homer.

    We need to stop having board favorites.
    This is two years in a row the board favorite was sidelined before the derby.
